2009 trip to cali!!! ☻

I had sooo much fun in cali! we went to huntington and new port beach.... we camped on the beach in dana point... my tent was about 100 ft away from the water! we kayaked and shopped and some surfed.... we also watched the grunion run.... it's when the grunion fish come up on the beach with the waves and lay their eggs in the sand..... we also got to catch them.... my whole trip was so fun! i had a great time!!

we won our first game!!
we beat west hills (our rivals) 24-21......

we were the first girls team from our school to ever win a game!!

we were down 18 to 8 at the half time.....

......we came back up to 16 to 20 at the end of the third....

.......by 3 minutes left in the fourth we were tied 20 to 20!!!

holy cow!!! the 8th ward "B" team made it all the way to 5th place in regions!!!! that is so awesome!!! we've never made it that far!!! we played so good and we were way good sports!!! we also had the best fans EVER!!!!! and a special thanks to sara and karina for coaching us through it all!!! thank you!!! we had tons of fun!! WAY TO GO GIRLIES!!!!
